What is Furniture Plywood?
Furniture plywood is judged by what happens after it leaves the mill. A panel that looked flat on the pallet will telegraph core ridges through white lacquer, open glue lines on a hot press, or drift out of square between cutting and assembly. Huanawood's furniture grade is selected and processed specifically to avoid those three failure modes.
Panels are moisture-conditioned before pressing, hot-pressed under controlled pressure, then calibrated and fine-sanded both sides. The result is a panel that accepts veneer, lacquer or melamine lamination with a predictable glue-line and stays flat through the finishing oven.

Why buyers choose our Furniture Plywood
Flatness that survives finishing
Moisture conditioning before pressing is the step most mills skip. Skipping it is why cheap panels warp after the lacquer oven. Ours are conditioned, so post-finish flatness holds.
No core telegraphing
Fine-grit sanding plus uniform core veneer thickness means the core structure does not shadow through light paint or thin HPL.
Two glue options for two workshop realities
MR (E1) for normal indoor production; WBP melamine for export furniture that ships through humid equatorial routes or sits in coastal warehouses.
Batch consistency
We keep species and press parameters per order, so the container you reorder in six months behaves like the first one.
