Full Birch Plywood — Visible-Edge Quality
All-birch veneer construction for furniture where the edge is part of the design, plus CNC and drawer work.
Indicative FOB reference. Final price depends on core, glue class, volume and freight at time of order.
Request a quotation→Birch plywood is specified for one reason above all: the laminated edge. In Scandi-style furniture, laser-cut decor, drawer boxes and children's furniture, the striped edge is left visible — and only full-birch construction gives the clean, even edge that looks intentional rather than exposed.
Huayanwood supplies full birch throughout: face, core and back are birch veneer, pressed with WBP or MR (E1) adhesive and calibrated both sides. Sheets come in 1220 × 2440 mm and 1250 × 2500 mm, from 3 mm up to 30 mm, in the B/BB, BB/BB and CP/CP grades that European furniture factories expect.

Edge that sells the furniture
Uniform birch plies mean the visible edge after CNC routing or sawing is consistent across a production batch — no dark streaks, no voids to fill.
Screw and dowel holding
Birch's interlocked grain grips fasteners better than poplar-centre panels, which matters for knock-down furniture assembled and disassembled more than once.
Dimensional stability
Full birch panels stay flatter through seasonal humidity swings — important for drawer sides and sliding-door tracks that cannot rack.
Grades matched to EU practice
B/BB for visible faces, BB/BB for general furniture, CP/CP for painted work. We label every pallet by grade so your receiving team can sort without re-checking.
Where it is used
Side tables, shelving and desks where the plywood edge is the design feature.
Light, stable, holds dowels and drawer runners precisely.
Clean burn edge, low resin content, no core voids to break a profile.
E1 glue and smooth calibrated faces suit EN 71-3 focused product lines.
Wall cladding, slat walls and acoustic panel backers.

Frequently asked
Anything not covered? Send the specification and we will answer in writing.
Ask a question →What do B/BB and BB/BB grades mean?
The first letter is the face veneer grade, the second the back. B is a clean, light face with at most small repairs; BB allows sound knots and colour variation; CP is a sound utility face meant for painting. B/BB is the usual furniture choice.
Is your birch plywood Russian birch?
We source birch veneer through audited supply chains and can discuss origin options for your market's import rules. Contact us with your destination country and we will confirm what we can offer and document.
Can I get 1525 × 1525 mm square sheets?
Yes — 1525 × 1525 mm is available in selected thicknesses. It is popular for laser-cutting businesses because it fits standard CNC beds efficiently.
What is the MOQ for birch plywood?
One 20GP (≈ 22 m³). Mixed thicknesses within the same grade can share a container.
Do you offer E0 birch plywood?
Selected thicknesses can be produced with E0 emission glue on request. Lead time adds about a week to the standard 20 days.
